Warner Bros. has announced that a 2-Disc DVD set consisting of all 34 Chuck Jones produced Tom & Jerry shorts will be released on June 23, 2009. Also included in the set are two new documentaries: Tom and Jerry…and Chuck and Chuck Jones: Memories of a Childhood.

Available in stores now, the Tom & Jerry double feature DVD includes Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry and Tom and Jerry: Blast Off to Mars.

Warner Home Video announced today that they will release Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Presents: Academy Award Animation Collection 15 Winners ~ 26 Nominees on DVD Feb. 12, 2008.
In addition to the three-disc set, Warner will also release a DVD featuring the 15 winning cartoons only. Titled Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Presents: Academy Award Animation Collection 15 Winners.
Characters that make an appearance are Superman, Popeye, Bugs Bunny, Droopy, Tom, Jerry, Speedy Gonzalez and many more. In fact, the DVD features cartoon characters from various franchises, including Merrie Melodies, Hanna-Barbera, MGM, Max Fleischer, Warner Bros. and others.

The Tom and Jerry Spotlight Collection Vol. 3 is now available for an MSRP of $26.99 although you could probably find it cheaper online. Volume 3 is the final collection in the series and features 35 classic Tom and Jerry cartoons on two DVDs. 15 of the 35 shorts have been re-mastered in their original CinemaScope widescreen format.
Bonus features include: Cat and Mouse: The Tale of Tom and Jerry, a history of the show. Also included in the collection is The Karate Guard, a theatrical short released in 2005 that marked Joe Barbera’s first return as a writer, director and storyboard artist on the series since his and Hanna’s original cartoon shorts.

Kids’ WB! on the CW has released its fall lineup schedule, premiering on Sept. 22, 2007.
Eon Kid, Magi-nation, Will & Dewitt and Skunk Fu! will be making their American debut and will be joined by The Batman, Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!, Legion of Super Heroes, Time and Jerry Tales and Johnny Test.
