Nickelodeon Announces ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ Series and Confirms Release Date for Feature Film

Nickelodeon has announced Avatar: Seven Havens, a new series in the growing Avatar universe.

The 26-episode series, created by Avatar: The Last Airbender creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, will be split into two seasons.

The voice cast and release date haven’t been announced yet.

Synopsis: Avatar: Seven Havens is set in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm. A young Earthbender discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra — but in this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior.

Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization’s last strongholds collapse.

The untitled animated Avatar movie will release in theaters on January 30, 2026. The cast includes Dave Bautista, Dionne Quan, Jessica Matten, Román Zaragoza, and Eric Nam.

‘Avatar: The Last Airbender — Into the Inferno’ game soars into stores

THQ today released “Avatar: The Last Airbender — Into the Inferno,” based on the animated Nickelodeon TV show. The game is now available for the PlayStation 2 ($19.99) and Nintendo Wii ($29.99). A Nintendo DS release is scheduled for November 24, 2008.

The game follows the storyline of the third season of the series where players participate in the climactic conclusion to the 100-year-old war. Players will be able to play as their favorite characters from the show and perform similar martial arts moves, as well as bend all four elements — Earth, Fire, Water and Air. The game will also feature air battles as players soar through the sky on gliders in new flying levels.

The Nintendo DS version of the game will introduce a new “bobble head” style of animation previously seen in Nickelodeon’s special Avatar series of animated shorts.
