The Fremantle Corporation has announced the acquisition of “Limo Guy,” a new CG animated series from Comet Entertainment and Kaleidoscope Productions. “Limo Guy” is best described as a cross between the humor of “South Park” and a modern day “Taxi.”

The series, which was picked up for 13 episodes, is aimed at the 17 to 34-year-old crowd. It follows Freddie, the limo guy, as he chauffeurs all types of clients aroudn town for minimum wage plus tips. Freddie dreams of a better life, but driving the Limo puts food on the table and provides a daily excuse to spend a moment with Rose, the bosses “off-limits” daughter.

Look for “Limo Guy” to premiere sometime in 2009.
