‘Arcane’ Season 2 Teaser Trailer, Release Date and Synopsis: Netflix Confirms Series Will End In November

Release date: Weekly beginning November 9, 2024 on Netflix.

Synopsis: Arcane is set in the universe of the video game League of Legends. The series follows the origins of League champions Vi and Jinx, as they become caught in the power struggle between the utopian city of Piltover and the oppressed underground city of Zaun.

In the second and final season of Arcane, Jinx’s attack on the Council sets the stage for a dire escalation of the conflict between Piltover and Zaun.

‘Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft’ Release Date Revealed: Hayley Atwell Stars in Animated Sequel to Video Game Trilogy

Release date: October 10, 2024 on Netflix.

Synopsis: Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft continues right after the events of the Survivor Trilogy of video games (Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider) and finds Lara abandoning her friends to embark on increasingly more perilous solo adventures.

However, Lara must return home when a dangerous and powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with an uncanny personal connection.

Her daring pursuit will take her on an adventure around the world and to the depths of forgotten tombs, where she will be forced to confront her true self and decide just what kind of hero she wants to become.

Voice cast: Hayley Atwell as Lara Croft, Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon reprising his role as Jonah Maiava from the video games.

Netflix Announces ‘Minecraft’ Series Based On Best-Selling Video Game

Netflix today announced that they’re working on an animated series based on the popular Minecraft video game franchise.

Depending on who you ask, Minecraft is considered the best-selling video game of all time with over 300 million copies sold. (Some say Tetris is actually #1 with over 520 million copies sold.)

Not much information is known at the moment, except that the series will tell an original story with new characters and that WildBrain (Sonic Prime, Ninjago: Dragons Rising, Carmen Sandiego) is the animation studio responsible for bringing this new series to life.

‘Rising Impact’ Official Trailer, Release Date, Synopsis and Cast List: Netflix Anime Based on Nakaba Suzuki’s Golf Manga

Season 1 release date: June 22, 2024.
Season 2 release date: August 6, 2024.

Synopsis: Rising Impact, the first serialized manga by Nakaba Suzuki, author of hit series The Seven Deadly Sins, began its run in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1998 and now, 25 years later, it is finally being adapted into an anime.

Over the course of two seasons, this series follows the growth of third-grader Gawain Nanaumi as he encounters the sport of golf and competes with his rivals.

‘Ultraman: Rising’ Official Trailer, Release Date, Cast and Synopsis

Release date: June 14, 2024 on Netflix.

Voice cast: Christopher Sean (Ultraman), Gedde Watanabe, Tamlyn Tomita, Keone Young, and Julia Harriman.

Synopsis: With Tokyo under siege from rising monster attacks, baseball star Ken Sato reluctantly returns home to take on the mantle of Ultraman.

But the titanic superhero meets his match when he reluctantly adopts a 35-foot-tall, fire-breathing baby kaiju.

Sato must rise above his ego to balance work and parenthood while protecting the baby from forces bent on exploiting her for their own dark plans.

Ultraman: Rising is written by Shannon Tindle and Marc Haimes, directed by Shannon Tindle and co-directed by John Aoshima.

‘Exploding Kittens’ Official Trailer: Based on the Best-Selling Card Game; From the Producers of ‘King of the Hill’ and ‘The Office’

Release date: July 12, 2024 on Netflix.

Synopsis: Earth sucks, so God gets fired and sent to Earth to reconnect with humanity. The catch? He’s trapped in the body of a chubby house cat.

As part of his rehabilitation, he moves in with a dysfunctional family and tries to solve their problems, but ends up spending a lot of time chasing laser pointers.

And to top it off, Godcat’s next-door neighbor, who is also a cat, turns out to be none other than his nemesis, the Antichrist.

Based on the best-selling card game, Exploding Kittens is an animated comedy series from Shane Kosakowski and Matthew Inman (co-creator of the card game). The series is also executive produced by Mike Judge (King of the Hill) and Greg Daniels (The Office).

Voice cast: Tom Ellis, Sasheer Zamata, Suzy Nakamura, Mark Proksch, Ally Maki and Kenny Yates.

Reunited in the wake of a tragedy, the group comes together only to find themselves on the run and catapulted into a global adventure to unravel a conspiracy that threatens dinosaur and humankind alike and finally learn the truth about what happened to one of their own.

Original cast members Paul-Mikel Williams, Sean Giambrone, Darren Barnet, Raini Rodriguez and Kausar Mohammed return. Jenna Ortega will not reprise her role as Brooklynn.

‘Good Times’ Trailer: 1970s Sitcom Gets A Raunchy Sequel Executive Produced by Stephen Curry and Seth MacFarlane

Release date: April 12, 2024.

Good Times is a reimagining and sequel to the 1970s sitcom produced by television pioneer Norman Lear. Netflix’s follow-up centers on the fourth generation of the Evans family living in the same apartment from the original series.

The voice cast includes J.B. Smoove and Yvette Nicole Brown as parents Reggie and Beverly Evans, Jay Pharoah as their teenage artist son, Junior, Marsai Martin as their activist daughter, Grey, Slink Johnson as their infant son, Dalvin, and Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola as Beverly’s best friend, Lashes by Lisa.

Synopsis: This is a story about Momo, a high school girl who comes from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic.
