A while back we posted a couple of video clips for a new animated show called Trunk Train. Fast forward a few months and the first episode is now available online (embedded below). However, it is not in English, so you’ll have to click on the “cc” (closed caption) button to enable subtitles. The red and white “cc” button appears after you press play. It’s definitely worth a look. The animation is top-notch and it’s very entertaining. We wish the folks at Copa Studio luck in finding English distribution.

Back in February I posted a video to a children’s television series named Trunk Train, which had not gone into development at the time. I’m happy to report that the show is now in production. I’d like to congratulate Zé Brandão, Creative Director of Copa Studio, and everyone else involved. With any luck, the show will get picked up for distribution in the United States.
Check out this wonderful animated chidren’s TV pilot from Copa Studio, in co-production with two Brazilian public broadcasters. No word yet on whether or not the show has found distribution outside of Brazil, but we’ll keep you updated.
Synopsis: An elephant with no memory, a vegetarian anteater and a colony of termites that believe they have come from another planet, travel together in a steam train through Latin America. In each episode there is a stop, and we get to know a different place and a new character.
